Next STEPS Worldwide is a rapidly growing outpatient clinic specializing in psychological, therapeutic, and nutrition services. With over 30 locations and continued expansion across state lines, we deliver innovative, client-centered care with a holistic approach.

Our New Client Scheduling & Care Navigation Team is at the heart of this mission. As the first voice a new client hears, you will guide individuals—many of whom were referred by hospitals, medical providers, or insurance networks—toward the best possible clinical starting point. That starting point is often a psychological assessment, which is crucial to developing an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan.

This position is ideal for someone who is service-driven with strong sales instincts, able to engage in meaningful conversations about clinical fit, financial investment, and value of care.

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage with new clients via phone, email, or web inquiries—most referred by insurance or medical providers
  • Explain the purpose and value of psychological assessments versus starting with therapy
  • Use consultative, solution-focused communication to match clients with the right service
  • Guide clients through fee structures and confidently discuss out-of-pocket costs or insurance coverage
  • Overcome objections with empathy, clarity, and a focus on long-term client outcomes
  • Schedule assessments and ensure clients feel informed and supported
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and scheduling platforms
  • Collaborate with intake advisors, clinical teams, and billing for a seamless handoff

What Makes This Role Unique:

Most clients think they need therapy right away—but we start with a personalized assessment to ensure the right diagnosis and therapist match. Your job is to educate and guide them through that first, crucial step so they can start therapy with confidence and clarity. ---

Key Skills for Success:

  • Sales-minded with the ability to build trust, educate clients, and navigate financial discussions with professionalism
  • Strong phone presence—you’ll be on calls most of the day
  • Comfortable in a call center or phone-based client service environment
  • Comfortable explaining the cost and clinical benefit of services, and addressing common objections (e.g., “I just want therapy”)
  • Skilled in active listening, positive persuasion, and client-centered communication
  • Critical thinker with the ability to recommend care pathways based on client needs

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English – Fluency in both verbal and written communication is required
  • Experience in healthcare scheduling, inside sales, or patient access/intake
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate and confident phone presence
  • Sales-minded communicator with empathy and clinical professionalism
  • Strong multitasker across phone systems, scheduling tools, and EMRs
  • Coachable, organized, and results-driven
  • Experience discussing costs, insurance, or self-pay options is a plus
  • Willing to train the right person with strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Base Pay + Uncapped Monthly Performance Bonuses
  • Full Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Paid Time Off + Holidays
  • Monday–Friday Schedule (No Weekends)
  • Growth track within our expanding national footprint
  • Team culture built on purpose, support, and excellence
Why This Role Matters:

Many clients call seeking therapy without understanding the power of beginning with the right diagnostic assessment. Your role is to educate them on that value, navigate cost conversations with integrity, and help them confidently start their mental health journey on the right foot.

If you’re passionate about helping others, comfortable discussing healthcare options and costs, and love being part of a mission-driven team—this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
