TREO Staffing is seeking a Naval Architect to join its team!
The ideal candidate must possess a B.S. degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering with a minimum of 6 months’ experience in vessel design development, structural design, and auxiliary systems design for marine crafts such as patrol vessels, offshore supply vessels, tugs, and barges. Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary in addition to familiarity with ABS, CFR, USCG, SOLAS, IMO and other applicable regulations.
- Experience with AutoCAD, FEA, GHS, Rhino software is required.
- Experience with Orca 3D Marine CFD or other CFD software, and Hydrocomp NavCad software is desirable.
- Technical writing and development of project deliverables.
- Must be able to balance schedule and work on multiple projects in addition to working within a fast-paced environment.
