MST Therapist

We are seeking a talented individual who shares our focus and dedication for those we serve and support. This is a role that is key for service delivery and development of programming throughout communities while being designed to truly make a difference in the lives of the families that are served, improving the quality of life and reduction of symptoms that decrease overall mental health wellness. This individual will work closely not only internally to determine new programming and growth, but with external partners who share our goals and vision, while making an impactful influence within the community we work and live.
What you will do
The MST Therapist under the supervision of the MST Team Lead is a crucial team member in providing assisting to increase availability of services to members and members families. You will work generally with youth who have Mental Illness and are at risk of out of home placement to provide intensive model of treatment. These treatments are designed with a team approach and used to target specific behaviors with individualized behavioral interventions. Services are provided typically in the home and include; individual therapeutic and peer interventions, case management and crisis stabilization. Specialized and therapeutic and rehabilitative interventions are available to address special areas such as substance use disorder, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
Additionally you will have the opportunity to assist in performing assessments for treatment and person center care planning. You will be working strategically in correlation to community resources and create providing community supports that will allow the families to develop and maintain the individuals behaviors allowing the member to solidify within the communities and create meaningful impact within the their lives.

- Hold a Bachelor degree within Human Services with two years of experience with the specific population OR
- Hold a Masters degree within Human Services with 1 year of experience with the specific population
- Experience with youth populations is required
- Bilingual a plus
