We are currently hiring a Front Desk Coordinator for our MRI center located in Kenner, LA. This position plays an important role in ensuring an efficient and professional experience for all patients and visitors.

Position Overview:
The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for managing patient interactions, appointment scheduling, and administrative tasks. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is required.

• Experience working in an MRI center is a strong plus.

• X-ray certification is a bonus, though not required.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and courteously.

• Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately.

• Schedule MRI appointments and manage daily provider schedules.

• Verify insurance information, obtain authorizations, and collect co-pays.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

• Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff.

• Support front office operations and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

• At least two years of customer service or front desk experience.

• Experience in a medical office or imaging center preferred.

• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
