Mortgage Disclosure Specialist

Position Summary

 This position is responsible for ensuring mortgage disclosures are timely and accurately provided in compliance with regulatory, corporate and investor expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Develop and maintain reporting process for mortgage disclosures
  • Monitor production pipeline for necessary re-disclosures
  • Prepare and provide accurate re-disclosures for change in circumstances on production pipeline
  • Maintain high level production while ensuring consistency and accuracy of disclosures
  • Validate and input accurate data into the mortgage loan origination system (Encompass)
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity of document images scanned in systems. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, and at least 3 years of related mortgage experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with mortgage loan origination system (Encompass) preferred.
  • Proficiency in using personal computers and office products (e.g., Word, Excel).
  • Ability to interpret legal and regulatory directives.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create and manage reports to monitor daily mortgage tasks and production.
  • Ability to compute basic to moderately complex math calculations.
  • Basic problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task in a close working environment.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.
