Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at The Truck Shop part of Road Runner Wrecker Service, Inc.

As a Mobile Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our diverse fleet of vehicles. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of delivering dedicated and professional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles including light-duty and heavy-duty tow trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete repairs.
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and operational before dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
• Collaborate with team members to address any mechanical challenges promptly.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Supplemental Pay:
