Merchandiser- Part-Time Weekends

**** $20 an hour ****

Schedule:

Saturday 8:00am-7:00pm

Sunday 8:00am-6:00pm

Monday 7am-2pm

Job Description: This position is accountable for assigned stocking, merchandising, rotation, displays and inventory counts. On occasion assists with permanent point-of-sale (POS) materials. Weekend Merchandisers: accountable for assigned stocking, rotation, and fill displays.

Job Duties:

·         Visit assigned stores daily to breakdown truck and work back stock to stock displays, shelves, coolers and bunkers with all brands and packages sold by the company

·         Rotate stock per procedures on expiration dating

·         Where required build displays-install or distribute promotional materials

·         Assist with cooler resets as directed by Sales Manager

·         Ensure POS is visible

·         Ensure the products being delivered and that which is already in the account are properly rotated within the cooler, displays and backroom

·         Safely handle all pallets and unsold product to prevent damage

·         Breakdown orders in a timely fashion and put product away in cooler, backrooms, and other storage areas. Organize back stock and discard all trash in its place

·         Adheres to dress code standards governing appearance

·         Works steadily and constantly without jeopardizing the quality of work

Qualifications: 

·         High school diploma or GED required

·         Ability to work with computer programs associated with the performance of the position

·         Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines

·         Have strong customer service and interpersonal expertise

·         Decision making, thoroughness and time management a must

·         Valid Texas driver license and have an acceptable MVR

·         Must pass all pre-employment screenings including a physical, drug test and background investigation
