A full time, exempt status, position responsible for the successful operation, supervision, and coordination of the Transitional Housing and Community Support Services programs. Oversees all clinical services within the programs with particular attention to the integration of mental health and substance abuse service delivery. Provides co-occurring evaluation, training, and counseling services. Leads the administrative operations of the programs.  

  • Assures quality, wellness and recovery-oriented service delivery and safe environments for consumers.
  • Provides psychosocial and substance abuse evaluations.
  • Ensures consumers can access and engage in community-based recovery services and designs onsite co-occurring recovery groups.
  • Ensures consumers rights and responsibilities.
  • Engages in collaborative treatment planning and service provision with program teams and attends team meetings.
  • Oversees referrals, assessments, admissions, transfers, and discharges of consumers.
  • Completes clinical and administrative documentation according to agency standards.
  • Supervises Program Coordinators, ensures a positive work environment, assists in workflow management and provides support, supervision, and coaching to all program employees.
  • Assists in developing new or expanding programs and services and suggests policy and procedure changes and development.
  •  Ensures compliance with all regulatory, contractual, accreditation, and quality standards including the Agency Quality Improvement Plan, policies and procedures, and corporate compliance standards.
  • Attends and participates in Quality Council, Corporate Compliance, Consumer Care, Operations and other Agency committees and workgroups.
  • Ensures adherence to human resource policies including the completion of performance appraisals and planning, and assisting in employee performance improvement.
  • Interviews and recommends new hires and promotions, provide employee training and orientation and promotes employee development.
  • Ensures compliance with Agency fiscal procedures with accountability and operation within established program budgets.
  • Maintains Medicaid and other third-party payer compliance for services including interface with billing and auditing. 
  • Develops, coordinates, and maintains relationships, contracts, Memorandums of Understanding, and Affiliation Agreements with subcontractors and other entities as required.
  • Attends and participates in County, State, and Federal planning committees and workgroups.
  • Performs all other duties and responsibilities associated with the position and as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree from an accredited school in a related discipline.
  • Valid NJ professional license in good standing.
  • 5 years of mental health, substance abuse, and supervisory experience combined.
  • Valid NJ driver’s license with a good driving record
