Member Services Representative (Front Desk)
An opportunity has just opened up for a part time Member Services Representative at our club!
This is our front desk position and the primary point of contact as members and guests enter the Club, and sets the tone for a warm, welcoming and positive experience for all members and guests.
Responsibilities
- Creating the member experience by being personable, knowledgeable and approachable in all interactions with members.
- Acting as the central source of information for members and guests regarding club activity and taking responsibility for learning about all of the services which the club offers.
- Assisting with program registrations, cancellations, club services and court bookings.
- Selling and stocking pro-shop items and assisting members with purchases.
- Updating and communicating membership changes.
- Assist members in their needs for all areas of the club.
- Using proper telephone etiquette and directing calls/inquiries to the appropriate departments.
- Using proper mail, package, and message handling procedures.
- Handling complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and following up to ensure resolution
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent with customer service experience
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administration skills
- Proficient or familiar with computerized systems
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be available evenings and weekends for a minimum of 15 -20 hours a week. Preference given to qualified candidates with some availability for day shifts as well.
- Security Check will be required.
