Veterans Engineering is seeking experienced Medical Technologists to join the team at the White River Junction VA Medical Center. This role offers competitive pay, full benefits, and the opportunity to support our nation’s Veterans through high-quality laboratory services.

Schedule:

• Primary: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

• Rotating Weekends (~1–2 per month)

  • Weekend Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

  • Weekend Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (may vary slightly)

• Holidays and overtime may be required.

• No on-call or standby required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform moderate to high-complexity testing in chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, and blood bank.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated and manual lab instruments (Abbott Architect, Sysmex, Beckman Coulter, Microscan).

• Conduct quality control testing and ensure compliance with CAP and CLIA standards.

• Accurately verify, document, and report results within established turnaround times.

• Maintain audit-ready documentation and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.

• ASCP or AMT certification required (MT, MLS, or CLS).

• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical laboratory experience across chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, coagulation, microbiology, and blood bank.
