About the Role:
Veterans Engineering (VE) is seeking experienced Sterile Processing Technicians (MSTs) to support the VA Central California Health Care System. This role is vital in ensuring the proper reprocessing of reusable medical devices (RMDs) to maintain the highest standards of patient safety.

Shifts Available:

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all sterile processing duties per VA standards.

• Maintain technical proficiency in RMD reprocessing and sterile supply procedures.

• Adhere to VA Medical Staff By-Laws, policies, and compliance standards.

• Complete and maintain all VA-required mandatory training.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or equivalent).

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

• Documented evidence of competency, training, and education (including explanation of gaps).

• Prior VA or healthcare system experience preferred.
