Complete Description:
Employee must have blood drawing experience at minimum 2 years and must be able to draw pediatric and adults. Efficient computer skills, vitals and measures, customer service and at least 1 year experience with diverse populations. Faxing, preparing documents.
MA will prepare all documents and medical HX prior to seeing nurse, will order labs, draw blood and process. Will complete Vitals and measures and do educational session with client. Spanish speaking highly desired but not required. Must be comfortable using language line interpreters as needed. Complete all required documentation into clients Electronic Health record. Must be knowledgeable of HIPPA and counseling on HIV and other STD.
MA with phlebotomy experience .
Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s): Agency computer and equipment used necessary to perform clinical services
Computer software to be used: Agency programs (HMS, Office 365 for email, etc.)
Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience
Phlebotomy skills
Knowledge of basic computer software.
Skill in using medical instruments or testing equipment.
Skill in taking and reading blood pressure.
Ability to interview patients and obtain a complete medical history.
Ability to follow instructions.
Ability to keep accurate records.
Ability to distribute prescribed medications.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
Able to provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a public health, medical or clinical setting
Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement: Certification/license required.
Desired skills: Phlebotomy, Communication, Vitals and Measures, Patient evaluations, Medication and vaccine administration, etc
Duties/Responsibilities: provide clinical services in a comprehensive health care setting
Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:00AM TO 5:00PM
1-2 Saturday's a month (OT) 8:00AM TO 2:00PM.
