Under Close supervision of Warehouse Manager, the Material Handler will primarily by in charge of handling materials transfer from Warehouse to Production and vice versa. Pallet Preparation of orders completed by Production or from stock inventory will be prepared to be ready for verification step. Other duties include completing Jot Forms, Online orders, and other requests for shipment. Operator also carries out standard operating procedures involving basics calculations, materials measurements operation duties are pending as assigned per day.


Job Responsibilities


The Material Handler- Pallet Prep Operator is responsible for all tasks related to postproduction product including, Labeling, stacking packaging, driving forklift, pallet jacks, storing materials in warehouse and other duties as assigned. This individual must be able to work independently with a high level of attention to detail in accordance with GMP regulations. The individual must demonstrate effective self-management and the ability to work independently with little supervision.

Material handler directed by area management.

o Supports Production and warehouse associates to ensure optimum efficiency for production and warehouse team. 

o Professionalism approaches others in a tactful manner; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration, presents a professional image in all business matters. 

o Continuous improvement regularly submits suggestions for improvement (SOPs) 

o Ethics: treats people with respect keeps commitments; work with integrity and ethically; upholds organizational values.

o Safety: observes safety procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.

o Ensure GMP is maintained at a high level.

o Maintain and demonstrate a high level of personal and professional integrity and report suspicious activity to management. 
o Must be able to work on weekends or extended hours as needed. 
o Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisors or managers, as needed to support the organization. 
o Ensure housekeeping standards and procedures are maintained. Contribute to and support the achievement of department KPI. 
o Complete paperwork required for the task and completed all relevant ERP transactions. 
o Ensure commitments to internal and external customers are met. 
o Print and apply product labels as needed to per production plan.

Warehouse/Net Suite Systems
o Perform forklift and pallet jack safety checklist daily to ensure equipment is safe for daily use.
o Perform redlines on various training documents. 
o Utilize excel (advance) sheets and Net Suite functions to plan daily/weekly goals for Production/ warehouse departments. 
o Collaborate with outside departments such as Quality (Food Safety), Warehouse and Production to ensure priority orders are pushed through on time. 
o Prepare WCD orders in warehouse for verification steps. 
o Ensure Bill of materials are for specific jobs are available for use by utilizing ERP systems.
o Create and Maintain Excel spreadsheet using formulas and conditional formatting. 
o Perform individual investigative work using ERP system. 
o Keep Pallet prep room and warehouse always clean (audit ready. 
o Make sure Product in warehouse has labels to identify product.
o Make sure Jot Forms are completed and shipped daily. 
o Work independently to meet daily goals maintain communication with Lead/Managers. 

Completions
o Conduct ERP (NetSuite) transactions correctly and accurately. 
o Ensure paperwork matches ERP(NetSuite) before conducting transactions.
o Return Finish goods and materials into correct storage temperature by following appropriate procedures. 
o Review and deliver Bill of Materials for specific jobs are available for use by utilizing. 
o Collaborate with outside departments such as Quality, Distribution, Planning and Production areas to resolve any issues encountered in the screening process. 

Job Criteria
Education & Experience 
o High School diploma/GED or some college preferred. 
o 1 to 2 years of related Production/ Operations and workflows experience
o Experience with ERP systems “NetSuite” strongly preferred.  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 
o High level of flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing business demands.
o Ability and established skills in operating a Sit-down electric forklift, pallet jack/electric pallet jack, packing equipment, selecting carts. 
o Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and adapt to new process and system requirements.
o Good computer skills, including MS office/MS Excel. 
o Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 
o Knowledge of Net Suite strongly preferred. 
o Excellent written and verbal skills
o Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. 
o Strong communication skills
o Detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills
o Possesses good judgment and problem-solving skills.

Physical and Environmental Requirements
Vision: Must be able to work with visible display images of extended periods of time – up to (8) hours per day 
Sitting: Frequently at the desk or worktable 
Communication: Job Requires ability to read, speak, hear, and understand and follow written and oral instructions. 
Other: Repetitive motion with hands, fine manipulation- using fingers to push keys (keyboard, calculator), pull trigger on the scanning gun, applying labels push buttons on 10-key and telephones 

WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
Much of the work will be in a Production/warehouse environment. The ability to view, interpret, and process information via a computer monitor for external periods of time during normal working hours is required clearly and comfortably. The ability work with the background noise is required.
