Job description –
The Marketing Specialist will develop and coordinate a consistent marketing and advertisement program across various media outlets for multiple resorts.
**This position is based in North Myrtle Beach, SC. Only local applicants will be considered.**
Responsibilities include, but not limited to -
• Code and track promotions to assess their effectiveness
• Create direct mail campaigns, magazine advertisements, and web-based email advertising
• Write, copy, and proof ads, as well as field numerous related projects
• Create engaging multimedia content such as graphics & videos
• Post on all social media channels such as Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Google +, and Instagram
• Plan content and delivery and use different software to manage multiple social media channels
• Develop and manage competitions and campaigns that promote our properties and brand
Requirements -
• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills
• Highly organized
• Flexible and able to multi-task
• Innovative
• Ability to adhere to and complete deadline projects
• Creative thinker
• Team player
• A marketing degree and knowledge of the resort industry is a preferred. Candidate must show a minimum 1 – 2 years of clearly defined applicable experience
• Web graphic design, HTML, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Premiere Pro, Canva, Capcut, and social media editors
