Viventium Demo, a leading global law firm with 1,000 lawyers practicing in 19 offices worldwide, seeks a Design Marketing Specialist to support the firm’s marketing communications initiatives through digital (including video) and print media. The ideal candidate is driven, creative and comfortable working on concurrent time-sensitive projects. He/she thrives in a team environment but can take ownership, using good judgment to effectively execute multiple tasks at hand. Drawing on demonstrated skill and experience with digital communications platforms and video production, he/she will:

  • graphically support marketing communications strategies, initiatives and projects;
  • produce and edit firm videos and manage video assets;
  • assist with firm-wide brand management; and
  • help coordinate and deploy marketing communications and templates firm wide, ensuring that all offices and personnel have updated materials and resources.

Candidates will have the following responsibilities:

Graphic Design & Brand Management Support

  • Design marketing collateral, including firm brochures, invitations, announcements, newsletters, advertisements, promotional items, displays/signage, logos or “bugs,” and other marketing and business development collateral, in line with firm’s brand and visual identity.
  • Help maintain and communicate the visual identity standards of the firm, including logos, fonts, photos and other graphics, conveying guidelines externally and internally.
  • Provide design support for creation of PowerPoint templates and high-level presentations, with ability to understand and synthesize key themes into visuals.
  • Working with other members of the team, take responsibility for maintaining and updating the firm’s library of artwork, photography and graphics.
  • Manage social media graphics and other branding on web channels.
  • Help maintain department production calendar.

Video

  • Support the firm’s video production initiatives, including initiatives produced in-house and in conjunction with outside vendors.
  • Capture and edit footage in accordance with the firm’s brand principals for use with both external and internal audiences.
  • Manage/maintain production equipment.
  • Coordinate video productions across offices, working with local staff to collect footage.
  • Manage outside production vendors.
  • Update/maintain library/archive of videos and footage.
  • Develop and communicate filming procedures/best practices for use across the firm.

Communications

  • Coordinate with outside design agencies, printers, videographers, photographers, and other outside vendors, as needed, to execute firm marketing materials and ensure consistency in quality and design.
  • Coordinate marketing efforts with other offices.

Other Responsibilities

  • Participate in and conduct trainings and professional development opportunities related to implementation of new design templates and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with concentration in marketing, design, advertising, or other communications-related area
  • 2-5 years experience in a marketing position with design and video production responsibilities, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in both PC and MAC environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of full Adobe products (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Trapcode and associated plugins, and Acrobat).
  • Video production knowledge and experience, including facility with filming, lighting, sound, editing and post production.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications; expertise in PowerPoint, Word and Excel with high-level charting, graphics and mail merges.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, highly organized; and ability to work autonomously yet collaboratively as part of a diverse, cross-office team. Must be able to communicate varying deadlines to external and internal vendors/resources, clients and stakeholders.
