Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing company? eCampus.com, a leading textbook and course materials provider for K-12 and higher education institutions, is seeking a Marketing Assistant to help organize and execute campaigns across multiple brands. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter who can effectively carry out the execution of a variety of marketing activities, primarily through the utilization of the company’s Email Service Provider (ESP). This role requires excellent time management and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities. This remote position reports to the Senior Director of Marketing and eCommerce and serves as a vital member of the eCampus.com marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the organization, execution, and reporting of continuous email campaigns within an ESP for over 300 school partners.

  • Assist the marketing team in the creation and execution of digital campaigns including social media and other digital delivery channels. 

  • Write copy for a variety of outlets including marketing materials, ads, emails, blogs, social media, and press releases.

  • Monitor and report email and social performance and contribute to weekly department progress reports.

  • Track marketing expenses and client budgets across multiple channels.

  • Manage quoting and ordering of print marketing materials and physical display items. 

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to update and refresh assets. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or another relevant field.

  • 1-2 years’ experience in marketing/communication/public relations.

  • Email Service Provider (ESP) experience, preferably Listrak. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with an attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in technology platforms, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting with the ability to balance multiple projects in a timely fashion.

  • Proven success in an autonomous and independent remote work environment

  • Proactive learner who strives to go above and beyond
