Marketing Manager - Nashville
POSITION SUMMARY: Primary function is to assist the Director of Marketing with the management of marketing flow. The Marketing Manager contributes to the creation, management, and activation of key events, both small and large in scope, with the goal of executing events on time, within budget and scope. Supports Marketing team and serves as a liaison between marketing and operations team. The Marketing Manager is expected to work between 40 - 50 hours weekly, with an average 5-day work week. Schedules are tentative and hours expected can be dependent on business levels, special events, holidays, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES CREATIVE THINKING, PROJECT EXECUTION AND BRAND RECOGNITION:
- Brainstorms with Marketing team to create unique events and partnerships that are on trend and attract a wide audience of tourists and local guests.
- Assists the Director of Marketing with advertising, purchasing, branding and sponsorship fulfillment.
- Create, maintain, and manage relationships with brands and other event opportunities for the venues.
- Create and conceptualize marketing collateral and ads as needed.
- Assist in the creation of new and exciting content, including graphics, photography, and videography
- Work with all venues to distribute marketing materials for venue use to leverage exposure to brand
- Effectively execute social and digital programs through collaborative partnerships, insights tracking, competitive research analysis, and the testing of new and emerging channels and technologies.
- Supports website development projects in conjunction with and under guidance of Director of Marketing, including the creation of e-commerce initiatives as well splash pages and landing pages, micro sites, and other relevant digital campaign collateral.
- Keeps up to date with all pop culture and current events and looks for opportunities to capitalize on trends through marketing and events, and keeps current with local organizations, influencers and events that could be potential partners.
- Ensure all marketing efforts are being communicated to team as well as company wide Work with operations to ensure all measurements are taken to maximize press for brand and events.
- Communicates progress, challenges, expectations, timelines, milestones, and other key project metrics to Director of Marketing.
- Ensures timely and accurate invoicing and monitoring receivables for projects.
- Keeps projects moving smoothly through the strategy, creation, management, production, and execution of processes.
- Brainstorm new ideas for marketing team of events and ways to expand brand recognition. Looking for new and innovative ways to drive business to restaurants and bars thru marketing layers, holiday specials etc.
- Manages partnerships with philanthropic organizations, coordinates any participation, and provides the Accounting Department with any documentation necessary for tax purposes.
- Negotiates contracts with local vendors who are necessary to execute successful events (décor, entertainment, etc.) as needed.
MARKETING EVENTS:
- Generates promotions for events as needed.
- Coordinate announcements of marketing events across all marketing platforms and departments for all venues at least 30 days out.
- Develops a plan that meets the needs of the event, the expectations of event partners and management, and stays within the costs outlined for each deliverable.
- Conceptualizes plans and executes layered, themed, and sponsored events to attract local and regional demographic.
- Manages all aspects of marketing events from conceptualization to execution, including securing event partners, sponsors, decor, staff attire, branded promotional giveaways, performers, costumes, social media outreach and promotions.
- Attends all event marketing-related functions as needed.

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in digital and social media marketing within a lifestyle or entertainment/talent-based organization.
- Experience as a digital account supervisor/manager, digital marketing manager, or social community manager is preferred.
- Experience developing and executing successful digital marketing plans across all digital channels is a must including social advertising.
- Experience with Adobe Omniture Suite, Asana, TripleSeat, Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics/DFA is a plus.
- Working Knowledge Requirements - Knowledge of online technology with particular focus in blogs, social networks (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter), mobile and other emerging platforms.
- Working knowledge of marketing event orders.
- Content management systems to update/add content.
- Ad platforms for digital and social media marketing.
- Strong communication, research, presentation, and creative skills.
- Proficient in Windows Office, Microsoft Office, Mac OSX, POS systems.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
- Prior budget management experience is a must.
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing and Event Strategy is a must.
