Look no further – Delta Water Products is searching for a dynamic in office Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and help us grow in exciting new directions.

Delta Irrigation has been in business for over 45 years and is a leader in the water irrigation and pump and motor industry. We are everything water!  

Our growth has been rapidly expanding into exciting new segments. In the past two years we have more than tripled our staff size and completed 5 acquisitions! 

Delta has branch offices located throughout BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Lynden, WA.  We are customer focused and are proud of our long-lasting relationships – we truly care about the products and services we provide. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented in-office Marketing Manager to join our team at our Chilliwack office location and drive the next phase of our growth.

Key Responsibilities 

Marketing Strategy Development: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives to enhance brand visibility and drive sales. 
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. 

 

Marketing Leadership: 

  • Strategically manage and oversee the marketing team giving direction on all aspects of digital marketing, including social media management, content creation, email campaigns, and website optimization. You will be involved in producing marketing content as well, this is a hands-on role.  Our managers lead by example. 
  • Develop and execute online advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads. 

 

Content Creation: 

  • Generate compelling and engaging content for various platforms, including blog posts, articles, videos, and marketing collateral. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather product information and create impactful messaging. 

 

Marketing Budget: 

As a Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in developing, presenting, and managing the marketing department's budget. This responsibility is essential in ensuring that our marketing initiatives are not only effective but also cost-efficient, maximizing ROI and aligning with company goals.  

  • Strategic Resource Allocation: You’ll be responsible for allocating funds across various marketing channels, ensuring that each dollar spent directly contributes to achieving our business objectives. 
  • Financial Oversight: You will maintain a comprehensive understanding of the department’s financial status, track spending against forecasts, and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and results. 
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: By developing and managing the budget, you’ll gather critical insights to adjust strategies based on real-time financial performance, optimizing campaigns and ensuring we meet our targets. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: You’ll present budget plans and performance reports to senior management, demonstrating the value of marketing investments and justifying future budgets based on proven outcomes. 
  • Long-Term Growth: Your management of the marketing budget will directly impact the scalability of our marketing efforts, ensuring we have the necessary resources to support sustainable growth. 

 

Campaign Management: 

  • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns to reach key customer segments and achieve campaign objectives. 
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance and budget, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results. 

 

Market Research and Analysis: 

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences through ongoing research. 
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify areas for differentiation and improvement. 

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to align marketing strategies with overall business goals. 
  • Work with HR to market Delta to current and potential employees 
  • Ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all departments. 

 

Trade Shows: 

  • Organize and design trade show displays. 
  • Assist with setup and take down at trade shows 
  • Support sales staff at various trade shows when required, some travel required 
  • Analyze and report for effectiveness while maintaining budgets. 

 

What You Offer 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred. 
  • Proven experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing strategies. 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sales approach – It’s about supporting sales and producing results. 
  • A working knowledge of marketing technology, digital, online, AI implications, etc. 
  • Familiarity with the agriculture or irrigation industry is advantageous. 
  • Ability to think like, relate to, and understand our customers. 
  • Proven leadership and professionalism with the ability to personally represent us well to stakeholders and at trade shows.  
  • Management experience, specifically in leading a team and managing department budget
