The Opportunity
As the Marketing & Events Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in telling our story from concept to campaign. You’ll manage social media and digital content, coordinate corporate and industry events, and ensure our brand is consistently represented across all platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and can balance creative vision with strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute company events, trade shows, and community initiatives.
  • Develop and manage social media content that reflects Upstream Data’s brand and values.
  • Create marketing materials and digital content for internal and external audiences.
  • Maintain brand standards across all communications and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support marketing and event objectives.
  • Track engagement metrics and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, events coordination, or corporate communications (energy industry experience an asset).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for events and work flexible hours when required.
  • A creative mindset with a sense of humor and an appreciation for digital culture.
