Marketing Coordinator

Job Description:

The Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the execution of marketing strategies provided by the Director of Marketing. These strategies strengthen brand awareness, enhance customer engagement, and drive business growth. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and will collaborate with the marketing team and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and the successful delivery of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Assist in planning, executing, and tracking marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, events, etc.).

·         Create and edit marketing materials using Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ensure brand consistency.

·         Support content creation for social media, case studies, newsletters, and other communication channels.

·         Coordinate and manage internal and external events, including trade shows and team initiatives.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather materials and resources for campaigns and projects.

·         Assist with data collection, reporting, and analysis to measure campaign effectiveness.

·         Maintain and update marketing collateral, ensuring all materials are up to date.

·         Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling and budget tracking.

·         Capture high quality photos of products, equipment, services, and team activities for marketing campaigns, social media, and internal communications.

·         Assist with organizing and maintaining a library of marketing photography and visual assets.


Qualifications:

  • 1 – 3 years of marketing coordinator experience is preferred. A mix of education and experience may be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated interest in photography with basic photo editing skills is considered an asset. Ability to direct photographers on site.

Working Conditions:

  • Based at the United Gear office in North Vancouver or Janox Fluid Power office in Delta, with regular on-site presence and interprovincial travel required to various subsidiary locations.
  • Full time schedule, Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexibility required during acquisition periods, year end activities, and major company initiatives.

  • Must be able and willing to drive to other BMG companies in the lower mainland area on a monthly basis, including North Vancouver, Langley, Port Coquitlam, and Delta.
