Marketing Communications Administrator
Kerr Controls Ltd. (Kerr) is a leading distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment, and Supplies. We have an immediate opening for a dynamic, dedicated, and highly motivated Marketing Communications Administrator.
The Marketing Communications Administrator is a key support role in our marketing team and is responsible for handling various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth and effective communication of important updates and marketing-related activities company wide. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a collaborative spirit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage promotional marketing inventory; distribute apparel and marketing materials
• Collect participant forms, organize participant information, and track event logistics including the coordination and distribution of promotional materials for Kerr related events and training
• Create and manage marketing activities calendar
• Track important deadlines with event vendors and suppliers
• Build and manage supplier literature inventory (physical and digital)
• Organize and manage Kerr branding assets and materials (physical and digital)
• Answer info line and public site general inquiries, and distribute communication requests across the company to the appropriate persons
• Update Company Portal
• Keep the team advised of priority and time-sensitive marketing updates with frequent follow-up (phone and email)
• Receive and code marketing related activity invoices and send to accounts payable
• Track available vendor co-op advertising funds
Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree Communications, Business, or related field preferred; with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Sharepoint), basic knowledge of CRM systems; experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and project management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• An efficient self-starter who can work productively as an independent, but also has a positive team player attitude who can work collaboratively in a group setting
