Job Summary
- We are looking for a Marketing Associate to help plan and implement our marketing and advertising activities. For this role, the employee should understand the full marketing mix and be familiar with ways to analyze market research and customers’ behavior. Also, the employee must be able to create spreadsheets and analyze quantitative data.
- The Marketing Associate must be an energetic self-starter who understands Ideal Market purpose, can develop a variety of logos, marketing materials, signage, and quickly move projects upon appropriate approvals. The candidate must be resourceful and able to develop a well-defined time management process in order to progress the vision of assigned companies. The Marketing Associate should help us achieve our business goals by building strong marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Keep an ear out to hear our ads run.
- File received customer incident reports and follow up.
- Buy and send decorations for festivities.
- Print signage, business cards, menus as needed and create the wording that will be included in the signs.
- Reply to Facebook comments and inbox messages.
- Post on Facebook, whether it is requested (i.e. job posts) or to keep the page current.
- Post weekly ads on Facebook, Instagram, Google My Business, Website, and Twitter.
- Write down weekly ads and make a script out of the provided information.
- Send weekly ads to radios a day before the day should start to run.
- Answer complaint phone calls, write down what happened and contact information.
- Respond to all negative reviews in a fashion according to how we expect the customer to behave (Whether it is in a review or comment).
- Manage playlist of songs that play in the stores.
- Create content to keep the page fresh when possible.
- Create a weekly report of our Social Media Platforms on Saturdays.
- Create a report of our Facebook followers’ demographics once a month.
- Update customer database.
- Assist with organizing promotional events.
- Coordinate teams to create advertising material (e.g. brochures and newsletters).
- Determine marketing issues and recommend solutions.
- Engages in superior customer service by making information readily available.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of marketing digital tools and techniques
- Solid computer skills, including MS Excel, web analytics and Google AdWords
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to work independently but within a strategic framework
- Good business acumen
