Operations Assistant Manager
As the Operations Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the operational efficiency of Dracko Merchandising, Inc., ensuring the seamless coordination of merchandising and experiential marketing activities. You will directly oversee the Merchandising Supervisors and Experiential Event Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Team Management
- Supervise and mentor the Merchandising Supervisors and Event Coordinators, guiding them to achieve departmental goals and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and developing team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for their roles.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement action plans to address performance issues and celebrate team achievements.
- Foster a culture of accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement within the team.
2. Operational Oversight
- Oversee the execution of merchandising and experiential programs, ensuring adherence to client requirements, company standards, and project timelines.
- Allocate resources effectively to support both merchandising and experiential activities.
- Monitor field execution through regular site visits and remote supervision tools (e.g., Repsly and Piñata), ensuring project completion and quality control.
- Ensure all events and projects have the necessary personnel, supplies and materials for execution, managing inventory and distribution accordingly.
3. Communication and Reporting
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders, including the Operations Manager, Key Account Managers, HR Generalist, and Director of Sales.
- Provide clients with detailed recaps, performance updates, and attendance reports.
- Compile and submit weekly and monthly reports, including payroll oversight, project progress, budget adherence, and KPI tracking.
- Address and resolve operational issues efficiently, coordinating with necessary parties to ensure smooth project delivery.
4. Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with program execution.
- Act as a liaison between clients and team members, facilitating clear communication and addressing any project-related issues or concerns.
- Support sales and program pitches at the store level when required, enhancing Dracko’s visibility and market presence.
5. Compliance and Policy Enforcement
- Uphold company policies and procedures, applying disciplinary actions when necessary, in partnership with the HR department.
- Ensure adherence to payroll guidelines, reviewing reports daily to confirm compliance.
- Oversee the safe handling and use of Point of Sale (POS) materials, ensuring they are maintained properly and utilized effectively.
6. Event Management and Problem Solving
- Support the Event Coordinators in planning and executing events, including set-up, execution, and breakdown as needed.
- Be available to resolve last-minute staffing issues, covering shifts if necessary to guarantee event success.
- Ensure post-event processes such as financial reconciliation and detailed reporting are completed accurately and promptly.
Job Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a related field or industry.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
- 1+ year of budgeting and sales experience.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities and work during weekends/holidays as needed.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities.
- Travel is required via personal vehicle and/or rentals.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

$55,500 yearly base salary

Paid Time Off (PTO)
Vacation:
Regular full-time employees are eligible for 40 hours of vacation time per calendar year.
Sick:
Regular Full-time employees are eligible for 3 days of paid sick leave per year.

- A waiting period of six (6) months from your start date must be completed.
- Able to use sick time at the completion of 90 days of continued employment.
