Manufacturing Technologist

To meet the growing demand for our product we’re currently seeking a Manufacturing Technologist. In this position you will ensure smooth manufacturing processes and prompt improvements through change requests and process improvements.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

·         Engage in change management with internal departments and external suppliers to solve Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).

·         Translate ECRs into engineering requirements, design and develop new parts/assemblies/drawings, revise current parts/assemblies/drawings, perform analytical/numerical stress analysis, and prototype mechanical/electrical systems.

·         Prepare and review written technical documents including Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and cost comparisons.

·         Modify and Maintain ERP database.

·         Modify and Maintain Inventor files stored in Vault.

We’re Looking For:

·         A bachelor's Degree or Diploma in progress or completed in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, or related field.

·         Unwavering attention to detail, strong sense of task/project ownership, desire to solve problems at root cause, and ability to question whether historical designs/processes are the best solution.

·         Experience using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.

·         Experience using Autodesk Inventor (or similar 3D CAD software).

·         Fluency in Microsoft Office Products (e.g., Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

·         Experience working on an engineering team.

·         Valid Class 5 driver’s license
