Manufacturing Assembly Technician

Local manufacturing company is looking for a FULL TIME highly motivated, ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN to join our team.  We offer competitive wages, benefits and opportunity for advancement as the company grows and expands.

Assembly Job Description

    1.     Able to use saws, presses, machines and hand tools to process materials to order specifications.

    2.     Ability to assemble products according to directions on the customer order form.

    3.     Ability to assemble components into a finished product.

    4.     Perform simple testing and inspections of operations.

    5.     Follow verbal assembly procedures.

    6.     Must be able to show critical thinking and attention to detail.

    7.     Read tape measure accurately to 1/8†increments.

    8.    Must be able to lift 20-30 pound regularly.

    9.    Demonstrate the ability to walk and lift for extended periods of time.

    10.  Must have hand and arm dexterity.

    11.  Ability to use adhesives to bond parts.

    12.  Work well independently and in a team environment.

    13.  Maintain a clean, safe, organized work space

    14.  Any other duties as requested by supervisor or management team.

Requirements

    1.     High School Diploma or equivalent

    2.     Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
