Description:
This is a management-level position within the Customer Experience Team (CET). CET is made up of Project Management, Support, Trainers, and eLearning Management. This role will be responsible for managing the Project Managers on a daily basis as well as take on system projects themselves. This position will be based out of our headquarters in Cary, NC.
We are looking for a lead project manager with experience in the healthcare industry, working with Electronic Health Records, Practice Management, and Billing solutions. In this role you will be leading projects that encompass all phases of project management and rollout; requirements gathering, implementation planning, and training & delivery. This includes project kickoff, scheduling, coordination of resources, change management, working directly with customers and third-party vendors for status updates, and account management for all implementation services. We are looking for self-motivated, energetic individuals with a positive attitude who can collaborate with customers, take ownership, and deliver results.
Manager, Project Management Team Responsibilities:

Lead the team of Project Managers to ensure the company reaches its KPIs on timeliness of delivery, customer satisfaction, and fiscal responsibilities.

Successfully manage relationships as liaison with the client and all stakeholders

Coordinate internal resources, third-party vendors (if applicable) for the seamless execution of projects

Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within all defined contractual terms

Collect and analyze project-specific requirements

Develop a detailed project plan, monitor, and track progress to ensure timely payments

Ensure resource availability and allocation

Manage changes to the project scope, milestones, and timeline, and provide updates
-
Collaborate with the development team to prioritize and deliver customer-specific features
-
Report and escalate to management as appropriate

Establish and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and third-party vendors
-
Create and maintain detailed project documentation
-
Work closely with other team members and cross-departmentally
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or relevant experience
-
2-5 years of experience as a project manager, or equivalent role with EHR or Practice Management products
-
Clinical and/or healthcare industry experience (from an ambulatory setting or from EHR/Healthcare IT projects)

Experience leading IT, clinical IT, or Healthcare IT projects

Understanding of clinical workflow

Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preference for experience using MS Project

PMP Certification, or equivalent experience, preferred
