Maintenance Worker (CPO Certified & Technician)

JOB FUNCTION:

Performs various repairs to insure that the Lodge is maintained and in good condition. This includes guest rooms, buildings, pools, whirlpools, waterslides, grounds, equipment, and furnishings. Responsible for implementing preventative maintenance to minimize future problems and expenditures. Helps maintain security.

HOURS:

a.       FULL TIME:  5 days per week, 37 - 40 hours average per week, may vary in slow and busy seasons, more or less hours accordingly.

b.      Earliest shift will start at 6:00 AM, latest shift will end at 12:30 AM.

c.       Weekdays, weekends, evenings and some holidays.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year experience of light repair and maintenance
• HVAC, electrical, and plumbing experience required
• CPO Certification for specialty maintenance of the pools preferred.
• Ability to use/climb ladders, be on feet for continuous length of time, bend, reach, stretch and lift.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Ability to drive Lodge vehicles and to be insured.
• Plumbing, electrical or HVAC certification preferred.
