Maintenance Worker
Lynbrook Restorative Therapy and Nursing is looking for a Full-time skilled Maintenance Worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs.

You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring all is functional.
The ideal candidate will need to have experience and solid technical knowledge.
Must have experience in plumbing and electricity.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Able to repair equipment (e.g. electrical bed)
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Report to the Director of Environmental Services facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Must have experience in maintenance, electrical and plumbing
2 years' experience in LTC facility
Knowledge of Fire Safety Codes, NYS and Federal regulations for nursing homes/healthcare facilities are a plus
Skills:
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills, required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time E/O Weekend
Pay: $28.85 per hour
