Maintenance with Boiler License

This is a M - F day shift position with on-call rotation, evenings, weekends, &/or holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of boiler, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls.
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Assist in the maintenance of fire alarm, security, and safety systems.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and comply with hospital safety standards and codes.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a safe and functional environment.
- Follow infection control procedures and ensure minimal disruption to patient care.
Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent required.
- One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent training in electricity, plumbing or other building trades required.
- Minimum of one-year experience required.
- Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.
- Boilers License: At a minimum, must be able to pass the MN Special Boiler License within 6-months of hire and work towards continuation of increased boiler licensure up to 1st Class C Asst. Engineer.
- Current MN Driver’s license with no unacceptable violations.
- Ability to navigate Building Automation System (BAS) software, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software, and other software including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to review and understand blueprints
Wage:
- $17.63 - $32.13 per hour. Wage based on current boiler licensure level and experience.
