Maintenance with Boiler License

We are committed to providing excellent patient care and a safe, healing environment. Our Facilities team plays a critical role in supporting healthcare operations by maintaining the building systems and ensuring safety and comfort for all staff, patients, and visitors.

This is a M - F day shift position with on-call rotation, evenings, weekends, &/or holidays as needed.  

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of boiler, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Assist in the maintenance of fire alarm, security, and safety systems.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and comply with hospital safety standards and codes.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure a safe and functional environment.
• Follow infection control procedures and ensure minimal disruption to patient care.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school or equivalent training in electricity, plumbing or other building trades required.
• Minimum of one-year experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance.
• Boilers License: At a minimum, must be able to pass the MN Special Boiler License within 6-months of hire and work towards continuation of increased boiler licensure up to 1^st Class C Asst. Engineer.
• Current MN Driver’s license with no unacceptable violations.
• Ability to navigate Building Automation System (BAS) software, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software, and other software including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to review and understand blueprints

Wage:

• $17.63 - $32.13 per hour. Wage based on current boiler licensure level and experience.
