Maintenance Technician/ Mechanic
Looking for good PLC/Automated/Electrical/Mechanical Experience
Display Multi-craft-multi-skilled with expertise in electrical, electrical controls, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and fabrication.
"Blow Molding or Bottling is a plus!"
Basic knowledge of minor estimating, scheduling, planning, budgeting.
Working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, Servos, and plant automation systems.
Working knowledge of National, State, Local building codes, OSHA and standard industry safety rules/regulations.
Previous experience with industrial controls using Allen Bradley control platforms Motor Controls (Servo and VFD) a definite plus.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED required; minimum of two (2) years mechanical/electrical maintenance or related-industry experience; requires the ability to work in a team environment, which includes being self-motivated, accepting responsibilities, completing assigned action items, and participating in a proactive manner in all team events. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Professionalism and respect are mandatory in all settings. One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The position requires knowledge of the following:
- MP2 and/or other Maintenance planning software; Blueprint/Schematic Reading
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Knowledge of CIP/SIP (clean in progress) procedures
- Knowledge of safety programs and procedures
- Available and willing to be contacted by phone in the event of an emergency and be able to work both fixed and flexible schedules including weekends, late shifts and overtime
