Maintenance Technician Full-Time (8:30am - 5pm)

Are you a good Maintenance Tech? Do you have experience with fixing things? Do you have grounds keeping experience? Then we need you.

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Tech at our Independent Living Apartments at Luther Park Community!

This position's job duties will include:  Various levels of maintenance by maintaining buildings, grounds and various utilities systems and services.

Repairs mechanical equipment in compliance with building and safety codes throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responds to and completes resident work orders ensuring quality of service to maximum resident satisfaction.

Performs work needed to ready apartments for move-in as assigned.

Performs general maintenance projects as assigned including installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment, carpentry work, painting, equipment repair, snow removal and outside landscaping maintenance.

Maintains office, shop, storage and mechanical areas.

Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, preservation of equipment and the achievement of safe working practices.

Maintains the confidentiality of all resident care information.

Must be able to work under all types of weather conditions (heat, rain, snow, etc.)

Provide weekend and after hour building coverage on an on-call basis as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience; health care experience preferred
• Must read, write, speak and comprehend fluent English
• Reliable transportation and must have a clean driving record
