Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician performs various maintenance duties requiring technical labor skills, including but not limited to, HVAC repairs and adjustments, electrical installations, plumbing, light carpentry/construction, and appliance repair. Works as a team participant along with the Housekeeping Manager.

 Required Attributes:

• To assist with preventive maintenance including completing the Guest Room checklist, minor repair orders such as replacing equipment that is out of order 

• Assist Inn Manager with special maintenance projects as necessary 
• Assist in maintaining grounds and common areas and keeping them free from trash and debris 
• May assist in monitoring and/or controlling maintenance inventory and/or supplies 
• Move heavy objects as requested 
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
