Maintenance Technician

Manhattan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC, has a full time potion for an experienced Maintenance Tech. Prefer at least one year experience in maintenance and one year experience in a long term care facility setting. Certification and/or license in HVAC is a plus, but it is not required. You must be able to pass all pre-screening requirements prior to employment.

Under the director of the maintenance supervisor, the assistant is responsible for the daily maintenance upkeep of the grounds.

Reports and responds to system failures immediately.

Keep work areas hazard-free and clean.

Follows maintenance schedule and performs unscheduled maintenance request when ever needed.

Addresses family satisfaction issues immediately in a professional manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must have High School Diploma or sufficient knowledge to perform job functions.

3.Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with other staff members.

4.Must be able to clear a background check.

5.Must be able to stand over a long period of time.
