Maintenance Technician

Lanoha Real Estate Company has a permanent full-time position available for a Maintenance Technician.  This position will be responsible for general maintenance for a mix of Class A apartment complexes and commercial properties in the Omaha area. 

Your day will include:

  • Performing maintenance on assigned work orders in an accurate and timely manner and communicate effectively with the team on status of repairs.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, appliances, building interior and exterior and maintain accurate records of service requests.  HVAC certification required.
  • Submit parts orders as needed to maintain stock material needed to complete work orders.
  • Managing inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Monitoring and maintaining pool chemicals on a daily basis.
  • The ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs., stand for a period of time and ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Any other duties as assigned

 Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Working knowledge of OSHA and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Effectively communicate with on-site team and provide great customer service while interacting with residents and co-workers.
  • Must be willing to work after-hours on-call rotation (currently every 3 weeks).
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance as required by law, and a reliable vehicle is required.
  • Provide your own basic tools, including HVAC gauges.
