Job description -

The maintenance supervisor will lead the engineering team in maintaining the cosmetic appearance and the mechanical function of the resort buildings and grounds in both the interior and exterior of the property. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge in a wide range of hotel upkeeping. The supervisor will work alongside the dispatcher to ensure that work orders have been assigned accordingly.

Job Responsibilities -

• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards
• Verify and document the completion of all routine maintenance and repairs
• Prioritize work orders; plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance technicians
• Perform various maintenance repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall/ wallpaper, painting, building exteriors, and appliances
• Collaborate with off-site Vendors, and Homeowners' department
• Performs maintenance and repairs with a minimum of guest disturbance
• Replacement of  light fixtures, fixing drywall/ wallpaper, painting
• Repairing of broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures; other light plumbing work as needed
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs, along with other light electrical work
• Appliance, furniture, and fixture repairs as needed
• Completes all work orders in a timely and detailed manner per company program standards
• Execution of scheduled preventative maintenance

Requirements -

• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Must have experience in a related field
• Certificates from college/technical school are a plus
•  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
