Helper

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Helper to join our maintenance and facilities team. The Helper will assist skilled trades personnel—including electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and maintenance technicians—with a variety of construction, repair, and upkeep tasks. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn a trade, gain hands-on experience, and grow within a team-oriented work environment.

• Assist skilled trades staff with maintenance, installation, and repair projects.

• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from work sites.

• Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary tools and supplies.

• Perform basic labor tasks such as lifting, digging, sweeping, and debris removal.

• Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision.

• Support routine facility maintenance, including painting, landscaping, and cleaning tasks.

• Follow all company safety rules and procedures, including proper use of PPE.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the maintenance team.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in general labor, maintenance, or construction helpful but not required.

• Willingness to learn new skills and follow directions from supervisors and trades personnel.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various environments.

• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to safety.

• Valid driver’s license preferred.

• Basic familiarity with tools and maintenance equipment.

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning a skilled trade.

• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
