Maintenance Technician
2nd Shift | Full-Time | Temp to Hire
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support facility operations in a food manufacturing and recycling environment.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems
• Perform and coordinate preventive maintenance on machinery, tools, and building systems
• Support installation and testing of new equipment
• Maintain safety standards and clean work areas
• Document maintenance activities and complete reports
• Train operators on inspections and SOPs
• Recommend improvements to equipment and processes
• May assist with general custodial tasks
• Forklift service and repair experience is a plus
Qualifications
- 3+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing or waste recycling
- Strong mechanical aptitude (motors, gears, hydraulics, PLCs, VFDs, control circuits)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and stay active all shift
- Computer literacy
- Ability to read manuals, interpret diagrams, and use hand/power tools
- Valid driver's license required
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
Shift
- Monday to Friday 1pm to 9:30pm
- Weekend Availability: As needed
- Hours: 40-50 per week
- Must be flexible to train in 1st shift.
Pay rate
- $25 to $28 per hour
We participate in E-Verify.
Must be able to pass drug and background.
