MAINTENANCE/GROUNDS WORKER

HOURS:         a.   FULL TIME – 37 - 40 hours average per week.

b.   WORKING SHIFTS - Usually between 8:00 a.m. –10:00 p.m. Event days may require earlier or later shifts.

                          c.   Weekdays, weekends and some holidays.

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Responsible for maintaining River Place Shops high standards of working condition of

buildings, grounds, equipment, and furnishing.  Responsible for preventative maintenance to minimize future problems and expenditures. Responsible for implementing preventative maintenance to minimize future problems and expenditures.  Helps maintain security.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age.  High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional knowledge

equivalent to one year experience of light repair and maintenance. Ability to continually reach, stretch, bend, lift items heavy weights (75 lbs.), ability to use/climb ladders, and be on feet for continuous length of time. Valid state driver’s license required.  Ability to drive River Place Shops vehicles and to be insured. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors year around.

UNIFORM:   Male:               Charcoal work pants, silver-grey work shirt, black leather tie work shoes or boots with rubber soles, name tag.

                        Female:           Yellow polo shirt with name embroidered in navy blue, navy blue dress slacks.  Black leather tie work shoe with rubber soles, name tag.
