Gasfitter (class B) with plumbing experience

We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Gasfitter to join our Maintenance team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.

With a pay range of $35-$40 per hour depending on experience and tickets, and rent-free housing, this is an opportunity to truly get ahead and grow with us!

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

* Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems, heating and and hot water systems/boilers

* Perform preventive maintenance inspections

* Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, pumps, pipes and other functional components of the system

* Knowledge and experience with drain cleaning and camera inspection tool experience, as well as roll grooving and threading pipe

* Sewer and water repairs and replacements

* Septic system knowledge and installation experience an asset

* Troubleshoot and maintain furnaces

 Job Requirements / Qualifications:

* Scheduled & unscheduled tasks after hours may be required

* Trades ticket preferred

* 3+ years experience in plumbing/gasfitting

* Able to work well on a team

* Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance

* Strong interpersonal communication skills

* Good communications skills, self-motivated, mature, dependable, timely and able to work well with others

* Willing and able to work in all weather conditions

* Clean drivers license required

* Good working knowledge of current WorkSafe BC regulations

This is  a year round position with a minimum commitment of 1 year
