Maintenance Custodian
Scope: We are seeking a Christ-loving, dedicated Maintenance Custodian to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of ministry vehicles and facilities.
The ideal candidate will ensure that the premises are well-maintained, safe, and functional, supporting the comfort and efficiency of employees and visitors. This position requires excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to manage a wide range of tasks, from maintaining building infrastructure to overseeing vendor contracts.

Qualifications:
· Personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
· Agreement with, and adherence to, PreBorn!’s Statement of Faith and Code of Christian Conduct.
· 100% pro-life.
· Willingness to intercede before God for the ministry of PreBorn!.
· Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.), health and safety regulations, and vendor management.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with employees, vendors, and contractors.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Knowledge of construction and repair techniques.
· Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager - CFM, Facilities Management Professional - FMP) are a plus.
· Ability to perform physical tasks, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Maintenance Duties:
· Oversee the timely repair and maintenance of the building, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, and equipment.
· Manage relationships with vendors for services such as, landscaping, pest control, and waste disposal.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire codes, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement necessary corrective actions.
· Respond to employee requests related building maintenance and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
· Develop and implement emergency procedures, such as evacuation plans, fire drills, and handling natural disasters.
· Maintain records of maintenance activities, vendor contracts, budgets, and compliance reports. Provide regular updates to management on facility-related issues and initiatives.
Custodian Duties:
· Ensure the overall functionality, safety, and cleanliness of all company facilities, including office spaces, common areas, and external grounds.
o Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
o Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
o Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
o Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
o Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
