Maintenance Assistant

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support our Maintenance Director in ensuring the safety, appearance, and overall maintenance of our facility. The ideal candidate will adhere to all applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements at all times.

Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Flexible scheduling available with the requirement to be on-call every other weekend.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist with painting and light carpentry tasks
- Support electrical and plumbing maintenance efforts
- Participate in grounds maintenance activities
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks and repairs
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
- Knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; HVAC certification is a plus
- Preferred maintenance experience, especially in a healthcare facility
- Understanding of safety regulations
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
