Maintenance

A hotel maintenance job involves ensuring the hotel's physical facilities and equipment are in good working order, including tasks like repairs, preventative maintenance, and responding to guest requests for maintenance issues.   Perform routine and reactive maintenance tasks on all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house areas.  Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems.  Inspect and repair building fixtures and equipment, such as locks, windows, doors, screens and lighting fixtures.  Must maintain the Pool including cleaning, chemicals and appearance.  Assist with repairs to floors and roofs. Respond to and address guest requests for maintenance issues in a timely manner.   Maintain a clean and safe work environment.   Assist other departments as needed.  May be responsible for maintaining the hotel's grounds and landscaping.   

Technical skills Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems.   Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems.  Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools. 

Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.   Valid driver's license is required for shuttle service when needed.
