ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Handle all guest's requests and fulfill them as quickly as possible.
- Be very knowledgeable about the hotel and its services.
- Be very knowledgeable about local area, local events, attractions, sightseeing and cultural events.
- Arrange all types of requests for all of our customers such as car rental, airline and train tickets, office services, beauty and barber services, babysitter etc. Arrange presents, repairs and shopping, if requested.
- Assist in check-in and check-out of guests whenever needed.
- Ensure compliance with accident prevention guidelines.
- Ensure that log books, handovers and checklists are completed daily.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling.
- Recognize all repeat guests and VIPs. Be able to recognize them and know about their special requests.
- Be knowledgeable about Marriott Rewards and Frequent Flyer Programs.
- Have a thorough knowledge about SOPs and LSOPs within the department.
- At all times strive to represent Marriott in the most professional and courteous manner.
- Be very knowledgeable about the rooms and their locations, services and facilities of the hotel.
- Stock M Club with all amenities.
- Keep M Club clean by sweeping, mopping and through out trash. Wiping tables and clearing all plates.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED and two years customer service experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors, and fellow Associates.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Must be able to calculate amounts and apply basic addition, subtraction and multiplication.
REASONING ABILITY
Must be able to analyze routine data to make appropriate judgments regarding the process of guests checking in/out of the hotel.

TIPS – TABC Serve Safe Certification
Texas Food Handler’s Card Certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Practice written safety standards and rules at all times. HOURS
Due to the business demands of the hospitality industry, and the fact that the hotel provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, any Associate may be required to work rotating shifts, including weekends, night shifts, and/or overtime. Also, depending on business demand, hours may be reduced at any time.
