POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of building materials. This role involves leading a team of warehouse associates, coordinating tasks, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The Team Lead will also be responsible for ensuring all stock is accounted for, processed, and packed to meet company standards. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Monitor daily and weekly workload within the warehouse department to ensure productivity and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure cycle counts are being conducted on inventory and being updated in the ERP.
  • Monitor the replenishments menu and create an RFQ for material replenishment.
  • Assist team with orders for processing by pulling materials, packing boxes, proper staging, and inventory receiving, as needed.
  • Review the negative forecast report and create an RFQ, as needed, for future loss of materials.
  • Conduct daily and weekly audits of shipping and receiving operations to reduce complacency.
  • Maintain item records, establish and utilize reports to project warehouse status with team members, other departments, and leadership.
  • Conduct daily Team Stand-ups to communicate and collaborate critical information with team members.
  • Ensure shipment and inventory transaction accuracy.
  • Coordinate efforts and activities with other departments.
  • Troubleshoot internal errors in the ERP.
  • Conduct quarterly sales analysis to ensure proper stock levels are being applied.
  • Maintain a well-labeled, clean, organized, and safe work environment within the designated warehouse responsibility areas.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to warehouse team.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that values open and honest communication.
  • Monitor team performance and address accordingly in the form of in-the-moment feedback/coachings, performance reviews, or corrective actions.
  • Ensure all company and regulatory policies and procedures are maintained and followed within the department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. 
  • One year's relevant experience preferred. 
  • Previous leadership or supervisory preferred.  
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  • Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles (Forklift, Moffit, etc). 
  • Valid driver’s license preferred. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs 


Legacy Metals LLC offers competitive wages contingent upon experience, education, and skills. Starting rate for this role is $18.00/hr. 


The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday from  7 am to 5 pm.
