POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the building, contractor, and retail teams, ensuring the efficient and accurate completion of cost estimations for buildings and counter sales. This role requires strong leadership, management, and communication skills to guide the team, maintain high performance standards, and contribute to the overall success of the sales departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitor and facilitate the sales staff in all aspects of their daily activities, assuring they have the necessary resources and are held to company standards.
- Assure that customer service is at the highest level possible.
- Address customer issues, as needed, to ensure all parties are taken care of.
- Innovate and improve processes and sales growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to establish best practices and increase sales.
- Trouble shoot department issues, develop countermeasures and provide training to staff as needed.
- Assist with filling open positions which may include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, firing and other necessary functions.
- Support company initiatives by attending sponsored events.
- Track team attendance, validate timesheets, and approve time-off.
- Provide encouragement for positive performance and/or corrective action as needed.
- Maintain an atmosphere of unity and shared vision.
- Conduct weekly sales meetings to review the team's performance, give feedback and take in ideas to make the team more successful.
- Improve the overall performance of the team in regard to sales, leads, and other measurable indicators of progressive effort.
- Ensure retail counter end-of-day activities are completed daily.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years' relevant sales experience required.
- Two years leadership experience required.
- Minimum two-year college degree preferred.
- Computer proficiency and aptitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a team.
- Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and cost estimation principles.
- Proficiency in using project management and CRM software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
Legacy Metals LLC offers competitive wages contingent upon experience, education, and skills. Starting salary for this role is $75,000 annually.
The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday from 7 am to 5 pm.
