Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate LPN or RN to provide in-home nursing care for a sweet and outgoing child who is home-schooled and thrives on connection. This happy, social child enjoys books, neighborhood strolls, music, Tonie and Yoto players, swinging, and sharing big laughs. Known for a great sense of humor and a smile that brightens any room, the child is most content when surrounded by people and part of the action.

Care needs include daily hygienic support, medication preparation and administration, G-tube feeding and care, PRN breathing treatments, and providing a calm, steady presence. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference while supporting both medical needs and a joyful personality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care according to the care plan
• Monitor health status, track vital signs, and administer medications/treatments
• Collaborate with family and care team to ensure the best outcomes
• Maintain accurate charting and documentation

Requirements:

• Current Illinois RN or LPN license
• CPR required (Castor is able to assist with internal certification if needed)
• Pediatric or young adult experience preferred (but not required)
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered approach
• New graduates welcome - comprehensive training provided for trach, vents, G/J tubes, and more through internal skills lab.
