LPN or RN To Provide In Home Overnight Nursing To Young Child

Schedule: Overnight shift- hours available between 7p and 10p Monday - Thursday
Setting: Private residence in Woodstock, Illinois
Requirements: Current RN or LPN license

Job Summary: In-Home Pediatric Nurse (RN/LPN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled nurse to provide overnight care Monday through Thursday for a pediatric patient with complex medical needs. The shift start time is flexible between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., with a firm 7:00 a.m. end time. The client is a pediatric patient with a G-tube, a recently placed tracheostomy, and ventilator support. Since the trach placement, the patient has been able to spend some time off the ventilator. The patient also has an epilepsy diagnosis. The household includes immediate family members and multiple pets (two dogs and a cat), though pets do not stay in the patient’s room overnight. The nurse will provide ongoing respiratory, seizure, and G-tube care.

Requirements:

• Current Illinois RN or LPN license

• CPR required (Castor is able to assist with internal certification if needed)

• Pediatric or young adult experience preferred (but not required)
