Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide basic nursing care, administer medications, monitor patient health, and collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a licensed LPN with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiration, and report changes.
  • Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments.
  • Assist with patient assessments and create or update patient records.
  • Collaborate with RNs and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about post-treatment care and home health management.
  • Assist in performing diagnostic tests and collecting lab samples as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
  • Ensure proper documentation of patient care and treatment activities.
  • Comply with all healthcare regulations, standards, and protocols to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following infection control guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN license in state of Michigan .
  • Completed LPN program from an accredited institution.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Previous nursing experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic with a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to nursing protocols and policies.

Work Environment:

  • Work settings may include hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, or home health care settings.
  • Physical stamina required, including standing for extended periods, lifting patients, and performing physical tasks.
