Logistics Warehouse Lead

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Logistics Warehouse Lead to  be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner, that the warehouse is organized and safe, and that  staff members are supervised and trained.

QUALIFICATIONS     

·         High school diploma or GED certificate, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment

·         Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics setting

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations, including shipping receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and returns processing
• Manage warehouse staff and ensure their tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor warehouse equipment and supplies and order new items when needed
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
• Train and develop team members on proper warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team and address performance concerns
• Other duties assigned by management

SKILLS

• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving goals

·         Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in inventory management and data entry

·         Proficient in using warehouse management systems and software for tracking inventory and generating reports

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands

·         Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, order fulfilment, and inventory control

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills
