Description & Responsibilities

The Logistics Auditor leads a team of Logistics Coordinators in packing, crating and shipping UAM inventory, worldwide. The SLC also:

Audits customer agreements for completeness before a logistics plan is initiated

·        Maintain compliance with OSHA, FAA, AFRA, & ASA guidelines and certifications, as applicable

  • Accountable for the safety and accuracy of all UAM shipments and receivables through audits, and visual inspection, when needed
  • Maintain spreadsheets of receiving and shipping statistics
  • Ensure through audit the packing of unit(s) for shipment and verify all necessary paperwork is included with each shipment
  • Ensure Quarantine and Verona receiving logs are kept current
  • Report shipping/receiving defects to warehouse management
  • Maintains the existing logistics process and makes incremental improvements that increase efficiency
  • Monitors and achieves logistics metrics set by warehouse management
  • Lives and breathes UAM’s Quality Control Manual and enforces all related policies and procedures
  • Abide by the posted AOG (Aircraft-On-Ground) schedule, and maintain availability during AOG period
  • Performs other duties as assigned

·        Sr. Logistics Specialist

·        Logistics Manager

 

 Qualifications & Experience:

·        Previous people leadership – either directly or in functional groups

·        Overall strong leadership qualities

·        High school diploma or equivalent

·        Have the ability to analyze data, search for errors and autonomously work towards solutions

·        Work well against critical deadlines with the ability to multi-task

·        Have good computer skills, especially the Microsoft Office Suite, with attention to detail

·        Be goal-oriented, persuasive, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team

·        Warehouse & Inventory experience is a plus

·        Aviation experience desired
